Gale Street Inn is set to reopen its location at 4914 N Milwaukee Avenue, under new leadership in early December.
In June, the beloved restaurant abruptly closed, leaving the community shocked and saddened.
New owner Paulo Villabona, a resident of Jefferson Park, brings over 30 years of restaurant experience and is happy to have the opportunity to reopen the local landmark.
“To me, buying the restaurant is all about the community. Our goal is to keep making amazing food, allow the phenomenal staff to continue to shine, and ultimately keep this pillar of the community alive for another 60 years,” said Villabona.
According to the new owner, the menu wil remain the same with some new additions, including a kids menu.
The restaurant, established back in 1963, is best known for its signature ribs and supper club vibe.
