This Is It Eatery, located at 109 S Galena Avenue, said on its Facebook page, “We have decided to shut down the restaurant effective Saturday, November 8, 2025. So, our last day of serving will be this Saturday.”
“This is a decision that has not made lightly by all means, we have decided to concentrate on us! But, we truly appreciate ALL of the support over the last 8 1/2 years and the wonderful friendships that have come about over the years!” the message continued.
“Unfortunately, there has been some unresolved issues that tie back to the lease and the story is much longer. But, we are leaving that out for now. We have decided to call it a day, to enjoy family and move on to the next chapter,” the owners said.
In 2023, This Is It Eatery was featured on the web-based “America’s Best Restaurants Road Show,” which travels the U.S. to feature restaurants based on user recommendations.
