SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A cocktail bar in San Francisco is officially closed after 12 years in the city’s SoMa neighborhood. Bergerac poured its final drink over the weekend on Saturday, the business announced on social media.

The establishment, located at 316 11th St., hosted many nights with a variety of DJs performing through the years.

“We’re endlessly grateful to every guest, DJ, artist, and team member who helped shape Bergerac into a home for unforgettable nights in San Francisco,” Bergerac wrote on social media.

Bergerac did not state a reason for its closure on social media. However, the nightlife venue did tease a return, saying that “something new and exciting is on the horizon.”

“While we’re closing this chapter, we’re not saying goodbye for good,” Bergerac said. “Something new and exciting is on the horizon, an all-new experience that will carry forward the same spirit of creativity and celebration that defined Bergerac from the start.”

Bergerac opened back in September of 2013. It was located across the street from Yolo Nightclub, which closed earlier this year.
