Police said the incident began around 12:40 p.m. in the 400 block of Daspit Street, where occupants of one vehicle reportedly opened fire on another vehicle. Both vehicles fled the area, and no injuries were reported.
A short time later, officers located one of the vehicles believed to be involved and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled, leading officers on a brief pursuit that ended when the suspect vehicle crashed into two other vehicles at the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Elliott Street.
Four individuals were taken into custody at the scene, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
