Los Angeles ready to celebrate Dodgers’ back-to-back titles Monday

Fans lined up early Monday morning to witness another victory parade and celebrate the Los Angeles Dodgers’ back-to-back World Series championships.

The parade isn’t scheduled to begin until 11 a.m., but fans were already out at 2 a.m. to get the best view of the players.

One family who arrived from Victorville spoke with KTLA’s Erin Myers about why they chose a spot at the beginning of the parade route on Broadway and Temple Street.

Brian, who showed off a tattoo of Dodger Stadium on his forearm, said the location allowed him to “beat traffic” and see the start of the parade.

The parade route to celebrate the los angeles dodgers’ back-to-back world series titles will take place in downtown l. A. On nov. 3, 2025. (l. A. Mayor karen bass’ office)

The parade continues along an approximately 45-minute route west on Temple, south on Grand Avenue, west on 7th Street, and north on Figueroa Street before ending at 5th Street.

“Last year was like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but here we are again, back-to-back,” another fan, Crystal, said.

The Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays in a dramatic seven-game series after entering the 9th inning down by a run Saturday night. Home runs by Miguel Rojas in the 9th and Will Smith in the 11th were enough to secure the back-to-back championship thanks to the amazing performance of Yoshinub Yamamoto, who closed out Game 7 after throwing nearly 100 pitches in Game 6.

Attendees of the parade were encouraged to use public transportation to arrive at their destination.

“The best way to get to the parade is to go Metro,” city officials said. “Streets surrounding the parade area will have very limited access to ensure safety and accessibility for all those who are attending and participating. Make sure to check the map for street closures and allow ample time to travel Downtown and find parking. Cars parked along the parade route are subject to towing.”

Following the parade, a special ticketed event at Dodger Stadium will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Tickets for the Dodger Stadium event went on sale Sunday at noon, but sold out quickly.
