Rami Layous was indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury on charges of second-degree sodomy, four counts of first-degree sex abuse and one count of second-degree sex abuse for allegations dating back to 2018.
According to court records obtained by KOIN 6 News, Layous allegedly sexually abused a child under the age of 14 repeatedly for more than two years.
Detectives served him with an arrest warrant at his home in Damascus on Monday morning, according to a press release from the Gresham Police Department. He was booked into Multnomah County Jail and is set to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
Records from the Oregon Secretary of State’s office confirm that Layous owns PyroLife LLC, a chiropractic business in Lake Oswego. Layous is listed as the CEO on its website.
KOIN 6 News reached out to PyroLife for comment but did not immediately hear back.
