Hit and run leaves motorcyclist dead in Taylorsville Sunday evening

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A hit and run has left one man dead in Taylorsville Sunday evening.

According to Lt. Aaron Cheshire of the Taylorsville City Police Department (TVPD), the victim was driving his motorcycle when he was struck by an automobile near the intersection of 5400 S and Warrior Way in Taylorsville.

The driver of the automobile fled the scene eastbound on 5400 S but was found and taken into custody by TVPD shortly thereafter.
