Dates announced for 2025 Festival of Lights at Rockford’s Sinnissippi Park

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Festival of Lights at Sinnissippi Park is set to return for its 36th year, beginning on Friday, November 28th.

The holiday light show has been a cherished tradition since 1989, attracting thousands of visitors annually. Last year, over 12,000 people drove through the park to enjoy more than 85 displays created by volunteers and local businesses.

This year, ornaments will be handed out to visitors on the first three Thursdays of December. The Festival of Lights will initially operate a few days a week before opening daily on December 11th and will continue through the New Year.
