Car crashes into building in Speedway

SPEEDWAY, Ind. – A car crashed into an apartment building Sunday afternoon in Speedway.

According to the Speedway Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 4 p.m. to the 2900 block of Consulate Lane.

First responders discovered a car had crashed into a building, causing structural damage.

The Indianapolis Fire Department’s structural collapse team arrived to inspect the damage and shore up the building to prevent further problems.

No one was hurt.
