9-year-old boy shot in Antioch: police
APD officers arrived at the scene and discovered that a boy had been struck by gunfire. The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect was determined to be a 17-year-old male, according to APD. The teenager was taken into custody.
No other information was immediately available.
Antioch police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the department at tips@antiochca.gov.
