$8.76 million added to Louisiana’s unclaimed property program
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Do you pay taxes in Louisiana? If so, you could be eligible to claim uncashed state income tax refunds.
According to the Louisiana Treasury, there are unclaimed refunds for 27,171 taxpayers in the state. Officials said uncashed state income tax refunds in the amount of $8.76 million have been added to the unclaimed property program via the Louisiana Department of Revenue.
