Oregon Zoo to offer half-price tickets for one week in November
The zoo notes guests can see newer arrivals, such as rescued cougar cubs Nova and Link, as well as 9-month old Asian elephant and internet sensation, Tula-Tu.
Additionally, this time frame will mark Polar Bear Week, giving attendees a chance to see Nora before she moves to her new home at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Wisconsin. The zoo will even hold a special celebration in honor of her 10th birthday on Nov. 6.
Due to capacity limits, tickets should be purchased online.
Further, the zoo says any admission for federal employees affected by the shutdown is limited to four tickets per order. Visitors must also show a valid photo ID and federal ID with their ticket at the gate.
This admission discount runs from Monday, Nov. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 9.
