Apartment manager arrested for stealing tenants’ identities, sheriff’s office says

(KRON) — A woman was arrested for stealing tenants’ identities while she was working as a property manager in the Bay Area, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

“The suspect — a former apartment manager — used her job to access tenants’ personal information, then created fake IDs, personal email addresses, and phone numbers to open credit cards in their names,” the sheriff’s office said.
