Washburn comes up short, falls to Missouri Western on the road

ST. JOSEPH, MO (KSNT)- The Ichabods came up just short on Saturday.

Despite overcoming a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter, Washburn couldn’t get it done on the road losing to Missouri Western 27-24.

Trailing 20-10 entering the fourth, Keller Hurla found Henry Mohrmann for a 10-yard score.

The Icahbods would get the ball back and Hurla would get back to work. He scored himself on the ground to give Washburn a 24-20 lead.
