CPD: Teen girl missing from Portage Park home for over 2 months

CHICAGO — Authorities in Chicago are asking for help from the public in the search for a teen girl who police say has been missing for more than two months.

Chicago police say a search is currently underway for 15-year-old Aaliyah Rodriguez, who has been missing from her home in the 3600 block of North Lotus Avenue, in Portage Park on the city’s Northwest Side, since Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Rodriguez, who has black hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-2 and weighs around 110 pounds.

Officers say Rodriguez was last seen wearing a blue “ASPIRA” shirt, blue jeans with gray and white Nike shoes, similar to what she can be seen wearing in a photo provided by Chicago police.

Police offered details about the missing teen in a news release shared on Thursday night, but did not say where she was last spotted.
