3 LSU Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity members named in alleged hazing investigation

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Three members of the Beta Phi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at LSU were cited in connection with an alleged hazing investigation.

According to officials, Logan Greneaux, 20, was named as a member of the fraternity who is charged with principal to criminal hazing and principal to simple battery on Oct. 30.

Thomas Lavergne, 20, and Brody Tanner, 19, were issued citations on Oct. 29 and charged with criminal hazing and simple battery. Lavergne had an additional charge of principal to theft.

All three members are accused of hitting fraternity pledges off-campus at an event on Oct. 9.

According to the TKE directory, Lavergne is recognized as the fraternity’s Chaplain.

This is an ongoing investigation.
