CHICAGO — Police say three men are recovering in the hospital on Saturday morning after a fight led to a shooting during a gathering on the West Side.

Chicago police said the incident unfolded around 4 a.m. in the 2100 block of South Harding Avenue in North Lawndale.

According to police, the victims, two 19-year-old men and a 28-year-old man, were outside at a gathering in the area when one of the victims got into an argument with an unknown individual.

Officers said the argument eventually turned physical and that is when the offender pulled out a gun and opened fire on the victims.

Following the shooting, the gunman fled the scene in an unknown direction.

All three men suffered gunshot wounds to their legs and were later taken to the hospital, where they were listed in good condition.

Officers say no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
