Crook said deputies responded to a call when a family discovered Ollie Hamilton severely beaten inside a church she attended on Burr Road. During the investigation, the sheriff said evidence led deputies to Jadynn Hamilton.

According to Crook, Jadynn Hamilton was taken into custody and later confessed to the crime.

“I can’t imagine how hard this is on this community. There are so many good people in and around that church and my heart goes out to them and the family. This is a tragedy of the worst kind, and it can tear apart families. Please keep them in your prayers,” said Crook.
