New Orleans police investigating fatal hit-and-run crash in Garden District
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead and another injured in the Garden District on Thursday, Oct. 30.
NOPD officials said two people were hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 3rd and Prytania streets around 10:54 p.m. According to police, the vehicle allegedly did not stay at the scene.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to a hospital with severe injuries.
