LiveU & Kinetiq Launch Cloud-Native Watermarking Integration for Live Video Distribution

LiveU, a global provider of live IP-video contribution, production and distribution, today announced a new partnership with Kinetiq, an AI-powered platform unifying global media intelligence into actionable insights and the company behind the Teletrax watermarking technology. With this partnership, Kinetiq is bringing Teletrax watermarking into LiveU Matrix, LiveU’s cloud-native IP video distribution platform, so broadcasters “can add secure, persistent watermarks to live streams without additional hardware.”

According to LiveU, its “reliable and cost-effective … LiveU Matrix distribution platform lets users exchange live video feeds directly in the cloud with high-quality and low-latency, accessible from any browser. Teletrax watermarking from Kinetiq adds another layer of intelligence and protection to the live video feeds. “This persistent, imperceptible technology embeds identifying data into video content, enabling precise tracking of where and how content is broadcast or streamed.
