Kokomo man arrested for allegedly molesting young girl
Nathan Clark, 26, was arrested last week by Kokomo police after an investigation into allegations that he molested a young child. Detectives were first notified of the allegations on Aug. 6 when the juvenile female victim came forward.
The girl said that Clark molested her on multiple occasions, dating back to when she was just 7 years old. Clark is accused of inappropriately touching the young girl and exposing himself to her at least five times, and as recently as last year.
When the victim approached Clark’s relatives with the allegations, one adult reportedly told her that they would “lie in court to protect Nathan.” However, this did not stop police from pursuing charges against the 26-year-old.
Clark was officially charged on Oct. 22 in Howard Superior Court 4 with two counts of child molesting, both level 4 felonies. The 26-year-old, who was reportedly on probation for an unrelated case at the time of his arrest, is now being held in the Howard County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
Online court records show that, on Oct. 27, Clark filed a motion to waive his initial hearing while also pleading not guilty to the charges. He is now due back in court for a pretrial conference on Jan. 8, 2026, in front of Judge Hans S. Pate.
