Drivers get message board surprise on Highway 41 in Evansville

One says, “AI did this,” and another says, “Zombie Crossing”. People shared other road signs with random messages across social media.

Gary Brian with INDOT says the department is working on getting them removed.

“INDOT is aware of the messages on the digital signs and is working to remove them,” he said. “Only messages related to traffic and road conditions are allowed on these signs.”
