Authorities report a Hardy man who was the subject of a search Tuesday afternoon has been found safe.Seventy-five-year-old Denny Joe Smith was reported missing after last being seen around 4 near 248 Red Oak in Hardy, close to the 9 Mile Fire Department. Officials said Smith, who is in the early stages of dementia, may have been traveling in a Polaris side-by-side.
Law enforcement confirmed Wednesday that Smith has been located and is safe.
