SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A crash on I-80 EB led to several lane closures near State Street in Salt Lake City.
According to the Utah Department of Transportation, a multi-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. on I-80 eastbound. At least three of the four lanes were blocked near State Street (milepost 123) and emergency crews responded to the scene.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the incident involved three vehicles, and all of the vehicles have now been moved to the right side of the road. Reportedly, nobody was injured.
The estimated clearance time is currently 5:19 p.m, though that may be subject to change. The public is being asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes, if possible.
