One person seriously hurt in northeast Charlotte apartment fire: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CTY NEWS) — One person was seriously injured in an apartment fire Thursday morning in northeast Charlotte, according to Medic.

Emergency crews responded to the 1900 block of Terrybrook Lane, where firefighters found a two-story apartment building with smoke showing.

One person was treated for serious burn injuries at the scene and taken to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Medic said.

Charlotte Fire crews worked quickly to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading to nearby units. Queen City News is at the scene gathering more details.
