Man charged in St. Paul pride flags vandalism

A man is facing two felony charges in connection with a string of alleged vandalism in the Twin Cities area earlier this year.

George Thomas Floyd, 23, of St. Paul, according to court documents, is facing two felony charges of damage to property stemming from multiple incidents in June 2025.

In that time, Floyd is believed to have targeted multiple pride flags, signs that supported Black Lives Matter and the No Kings protests, and signage with anti-President Trump and anti-DOGE messaging.

Floyd’s actions were allegedly captured on cameras showing him taking down and/or damaging items in others’ yards. Also documenting the incidents was Floyd himself, who allegedly texted an acquaintance and family members about what he was doing.

Floyd would also take photos of the reported vandalism, which police later found on his phone, as well as a list of addresses, some of which officers said they responded to for vandalism reports.

At this time, Floyd is being charged in court via summons and has not been taken into custody.
