TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a man Thursday, Oct. 30, in connection with a child sex abuse material investigation.

According to the TPSO, the investigation was launched after receiving tips from national reporting systems, which allegedly led to the identification of 66 files containing child sexual abuse material “associated with the same digital forensic marker.”

During the investigation, TPSO detectives said they identified 25-year-old Angel Rodas of Gray as a suspect.

TPSO officials said Rodas was arrested on 66 counts of pornography involving juveniles. He was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex.
