Drive a real NASCAR car at Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH, TX (KDAF) – Texas Motor Speedway is the place you go to catch NASCAR races, but did you know there’s an experience there where you can actually drive a NASCAR car?

The Team Texas David Starr’s Racing School is an events and entertainment company based around NASCAR rides and drives. You can choose to either drive or ride in the NASCAR car or do both. You go through a twenty minute training class with a NASCAR veteran, get suited up in a racing suit and helmet and then drive between 10 to 60 laps at Texas Motor Speedway at up to 150 miles an hour.

They’re the only company NASCAR racing company whose leader is a NASCAR driver. All the cars are bought from NASCAR cup teams or drivers, so they’re real race cars.
