With the possibility of a temporary suspension of November SNAP benefits set to affect 384,800 Mississippians, the donation to Stewpot Community Services will provide nutrition and help prevent hunger-related health impacts.
Stewpot currently serves around 700 underserved individuals monthly, via its pantry, Community Kitchen and Meals on Wheels program for homebound seniors. FMOL Health | St. Dominic also operates a free health clinic within the Stewpot footprint, offering primary care to low-income families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
