The “Hot Light” will once again shine in Minnesota when Krispy Kreme makes its grand return to the land of 10,000 lakes this November.
The new store, located at 5696 University Avenue in Fridley, will open its doors on Nov. 12 and thereafter operate Sunday through Thursday from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to return to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, a location where fans have been asking us to come back for nearly two decades,” said Krispy Kreme CEO Josh Charlesworth. “This strategic location allows us to serve Minnesotans across the state, and we can’t wait to bring the most amazing doughnut experience imaginable back to the community.”
With the new location, Krispy Kreme said some select retailers across Minnesota will sell their donuts, but did not disclose when or where they could be found.
As part of the grand opening, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 10 dozen guests a free celebration ticket, redeemable for a dozen glazed doughnuts every month for a year.
