Driver hospitalized with serious injuries after 2-car crash in Southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Portland’s Hazelwood Neighborhood Tuesday night.

Police and Portland Fire and Rescue both responded to the crash at 8:19 p.m. in the 13000 block of Southeast Stark Street, the Portland Police Bureau said.

“One of the drivers was transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The patient’s prognosis is unknown, but the injuries are believed to be life-threatening,” PPB said in a press release.

The Portland Police Traffic Division is continuing to investigate the scene of the crash.
