HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Ark. — Visit Hot Springs announced that registration is now open for the Fifth Ever World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Zero K race on March 17.
According to a spokesperson, the race is a 299-foot course set for March 17 in downtown Hot Springs.
The event starts at 4 p.m. on 98-foot Bridge Street, recently painted Kelly green, and ends at O’Kelley’s Pub, with a hydration station at the halfway point, officials said.
Entry is $25, and participants receive a T-shirt, medal, swag bag, and bib, with early registration by March 10 guaranteeing all items, officials said.
The event benefits foster children in Garland, Hot Spring, Clark, Grant, and Pike Counties through Tri-Lakes CASA, said Suzanne Herron, executive director.
Early packet pickup is Monday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tri-Lakes CASA Office, 508 Ouachita Avenue, Hamp Williams Building, with parking available behind the building, officials said.
