Vigil held at Lincoln University following deadly mass shooting
One person was killed and six others were wounded in the shooting, with one suspect now in custody. However, police believe the shooter may not have acted alone. University officials say they will continue to work closely with law enforcement to ensure the safety of the campus community.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. outside the International Cultural Center during the school’s homecoming celebrations.
The president of Lincoln University released a statement, saying in part, “Gun violence happens far too often in our country, and we are heartbroken that Lincoln University and its students are among the latest victims of such senseless violence.”
The FBI is asking for tips and any videos related to the shooting. You can submit your tips or videos at the FBI website.
