Vehicle crashes into Topeka grocery store

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police were called Monday night to a local grocery store after a vehicle reportedly hit the front of the building.

Kimberly Qualls with the City of Topeka said first responders were notified shortly before 5 p.m. on Oct. 27 about a crash at the Dillons located at 2815 SW 29th St. in the Brookwood Shopping Center. Officers arriving at the scene learned a vehicle hit the front of the store.

Qualls said no injuries were reported following the crash and only one vehicle was involved. A 27 News reporter captured photos of the damage. The vehicle involved with the crash had already been removed from the scene.
