COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Happy Tuesday! It has been an overcast, chilly day, and we are in for even colder weather in our forecast.

Wednesday & Thursday: Tomorrow we are tracking a cold front that will move through the southeast. This front will bring scattered showers early Wednesday afternoon. This will be that cold rain, because our temperatures will sit in the upper 50s and 60s.

We will still see cool afternoons on Thursday, but the front will give us more sun for the end of the week.

Halloween: Get ready to pack a few extra layers on Friday night when the kids head to trick or treat. Highs will sit in the 60s, but they will drop quickly after sunset. We have no rain to worry about.

Weekend: Saturday morning could be the first time we have 30s this season. Those afternoon temperatures will be back in the 70s by Sunday. Plus, we have clear skies for the weekend.

Next Week: We are tracking a potential system early next week. This would bring rain chances back into the forecast, but there is still uncertainty if this system will move into our region.
