Register now for Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Run in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is gearing up for its annual Red Kettle Run, set for Saturday, November 1, 2025, on the LSUS campus behind the HPE building.

The community event features a Fun Run, 5K, and 10K walk or run, all benefiting the Salvation Army’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, including support for the Merkle Center of Hope Shelter, Boys & Girls Club, Angel Tree participants, and other programs that provide meals and emergency assistance during the holidays.

Participants can register early for discounted rates, and there’s even a “Sleep-In Supporter” option for those who want to contribute without lacing up their running shoes. Race day kicks off bright and early, with registration beginning at 6:30 a.m., followed by an after-party featuring food and awards.
