NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Saints named rookie quarterback Tyler Shough as the starter, according to NFL Senior Insider Adam Schefter.
The Saints selected the 26-year-old quarterback with the 40th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

With Shough taking over the starting position, quarterback Spencer Rattler is benched. This season, Rattler had 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He led New Orleans to a 1-7 record.
