Mini motorbike police chase ends in Vallejo with suspect pushed off
Vallejo Police Department officers on Thursday, just before 9 p.m., saw the mini motorbike’s rider failing to stop at multiple stop signs along Marin Street, according to authorities. Police said the motorbike was not equipped with working headlights or taillights, and the rider was not wearing a helmet.
The rider fled from the attempted traffic stop and led pursuing officers through residential streets at a high speed.
“As the rider attempted to pass the officers near Marin Street and Georgia Street, one of the officers pushed him, causing the suspect to lose control and fall off the motorbike,” Vallejo PD said.
Arresting officers located a fully loaded handgun tucked into the rider’s waistband, police said, despite him not having a concealed carry permit. The man was booked into the Solano County Jail.
