“American Truck Simulator” is a popular open-world driving and simulation video game where players drive realistic truck models and deliver cargo. The goal? To build a transportation company across a virtual representation of the United States.
The game, which has millions of downloads, visually captivates gamers, taking them through a hyper-realistic view of scenic locations around the United States.
The highly detailed game, from its graphics to its sound effects, quickly submerges viewers in a life-like, almost serene experience of truck driving across America.
This fall, the “SCS Software” game teased online a view of the downtown Shreveport addition to the Louisiana DLC accumulating over 110,000 views on Facebook.
What other Louisiana cities were included?
According to an online blog by the gaming company, these are a few of the cities that you can expect to cruise through when the DLC is released.

In a YouTube video, the company reveals that the game and its European version, “Euro Truck Simulator 2,” can now be enjoyed on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Previously, the game was only available on PC.
The date for the Louisiana DLC has not been announced yet, but you can add it to your gaming wish list to be notified when it’s released.
