Elderly woman killed in fatal Spanish Fork crash identified

SPANISH FORK, Utah (ABC4) — The victim in the fatal Spanish Fork crash on Sunday evening has been identified.

The Spanish Fork Police Department identified the deceased individual as 85-year-old Mary Jacobson of Utah County.

According to the Spanish Fork Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 6 and Spanish Fork Parkway. A westbound truck pulling a horse trailer collided with several vehicles stopped at a red light.

Two people were taken to a local hospital in serious condition— one of whom was Jacobson.

The horse trailer was carrying four horses. One horse suffered a broken leg.
