Edina police are asking for witnesses to come forward in connection with a shooting that happened on Highway 169 earlier this month.
Police say a woman was driving on the highway, north of Interstate Highway 494, around 7 a.m. on Oct. 11 when she tried to pass an older model white sedan with tinted windows.
The woman told police the sedan was weaving between lanes at varying speeds.
According to police, as the woman tried to pass the sedan, the man driving pointed a gun at her, and she heard a shot after passing the car.
It was determined that a bullet struck her vehicle, police said, adding that no injuries were reported.
Edina police are searching for witnesses who saw the suspect vehicle or the shooting.
