DeKalb man arrested for drugs and explosives faces new burglary charges
DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) — James Hall, 38, who was arrested after drugs and explosives were found in his home, now faces additional charges related to several burglaries that occurred across DeKalb County.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Hall was arrested as the result of a search of a home in the 33000 block of Hagen Drive, in Kingston, on Sunday, October 19th.

Police said the search warrant was for the recovery of several stolen items from burglaries that occurred in the central and northern parts of the county.

However, authorities said more than 100 grams of cocaine was found in the home, along with several homemade explosive devices. The Kane County Bomb Squad was called to safely remove the devices.

Hall was initially charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and now faces additional charges of theft and unlawful possession of explosives.
