An 83-year-old Wisconsin man was killed in a crash in Afton on Monday afternoon, according to an incident report from Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities say a 76-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Corvette east on I-94 near Manning Avenue around 2:15 p.m. when he collided with someone driving a Toyota Corolla.
The Corvette lost control, spun out, and went into the ditch, where it rolled. Authorities say the passenger of the vehicle, Thomas Samuel Amsbaugh, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The driver of the Corvette was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Corolla also went into the ditch and the driver, a 30-year-old man, was not injured.
