NWS Survey: EF-1 tornado Friday night near Kendalia

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio Office conducted a survey this weekend and concluded that an EF-1 tornado occurred Friday night, touching down near Kendalia. The tornado tracked east along FM 306, and impacted neighborhoods near Canyon Lake.

Preliminary damage survey results concluded the tornado occurred between 11:35 p.m. and 11:58 p.m. The estimated peak wind was 110 mph, the path length was 20.1 miles, and the max width was 300 yards.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.
