The bakery, known for its popular cinnamon rolls, has received overwhelming support from the local community, exceeding the owners’ expectations.
“It’s been great, better than we’ve ever really expected,” said Justin, who is associated with the bakery. “We’re just so thankful for all of our family and friends that have helped us out and our employees and just the support we’ve had from the community.”
Amanda, who has a passion for baking, started by taking orders from her home before opening Coffee in Crumbs. “I’ve always loved baking,” she said, describing how she began with a cooler outside her house to take orders.
The bakery’s cinnamon rolls are a standout item, drawing customers back week after week. “It’s definitely cinnamon rolls that come in for the week,” Amanda noted. “Last week, I almost hit 12,000 since we opened.”
The business is a family affair, with Amanda’s mother, aunt, and daughters all contributing to its success. “It’s definitely a family business,” Amanda explained, highlighting the involvement of her family and friends in the bakery’s operations.
Amanda also mentioned her favorite treat from the bakery, the cranberry white chocolate chip cookie, which she enjoys regularly.
