LOOKING AHEAD: Tuesday will feature more of the same – highs in the low 80s with afternoon sunshine. Another cold front (a stronger one) will sweep across the area Tuesday night, bringing a chance for rain late. The rain will quickly exit and cooler air will begin to overtake south Louisiana and southwest Mississippi, bringing a real fall feel to the air. Highs on Wednesday – Friday will not even make it out of the 60s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Have the jackets ready to go by midweek!
