
(KRON) — Some East Bay residents were likely rattled awake by a small earthquake at 7:29 a.m. Sunday. The quake, a preliminary magnitude 3.2, was epicentered 4.5 miles north-northwest of Lafayette, 4.9 miles north-northeast of Orinda, and just under 5 miles south of Martinez.
The earthquake was felt around the East Bay with residents in Martinez, Walnut Creek and Pinole all reporting they felt it. The quake’s rumblings were described as very short, quick movements.
There were no preliminary reports of damages or injuries.
