Minneapolis police investigating shooting that injured 1 person

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating after a man was discovered with a gunshot injury in an alley Saturday morning.

According to police, officers in the 300 block of First Avenue North were alerted around 1:44 a.m. that a man had been shot in the area.

Officers found the man in an alleyway and provided him with medical aid until he was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
