20-year-old woman killed in Blue Earth County crash

A 20-year-old was killed Friday after her vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Highway 14.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2003 Lexus Sedan was traveling east on Highway 14 when it collided with an eastbound semi-truck around 10:03 a.m.

The driver of the Lexus, 20-year-old Valerie Kathleen Caven of Farmington, was killed as a result of the crash.

The semi-truck driver was not injured.
