Yellville man killed, woman from Yellville injured in Saturday crash

A Yellville man was killed and a woman from Yellville was injured in a crash that happened Saturday morning in Marion County. The Arkansas State Police say 65-year-old Gaylon Sanders died in the accident. Injured and taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home was 33-year-old Amanda Sanders.

According to the accident report which was just released, the accident happened when the vehicle being driven by Gaylon Sanders left the roadway in a curve, traveled down an embankment and struck a creek bed.

The crash happened Saturday morning at 9:20 on U.S. Highway 62/412 in rural Marion County.
